- Overview of Real Estate Law - The subject matter of this continuing education course will cover themes such as provisional status, reciprocity agreements, real estate forms, continuing education, prelicensure, and the South Carolina Real Esate Commision.
- Contracts and Closing Statements - This course will provide knowledge for preclosing procedures, RESPA, closing staements, prorations, contracts used in real estate, discharge of contracts, federal and local laws and requirements, and pertinent legal information.

These are the current requirements for renewing your South Carolina Real Estate Broker license. We will always provide the newest information available and will update the requirements as soon as there are changes.
- To renew your Real Estate Brokers License in the state of South Carolina, you are required to complete 8 hours of continuing education every 2 years.
- A minimum of two hours must cover current federal and state laws affecting brokers. The license expires every two years; continuing education must be completed prior to expiration.
- If you are a broker that is 65 years of age or older and have a minimum of 25 years of licensure, you are exempt from continuing education requirements.
- You must show proof of continuing education completion when renewing your license. It is recommended that licensees keep a record of continuing education completion.
